Game Room

One of the biggest projects we had at our new house, besides the backyard, was the 'game room' or 'bonus room' the people we purchased the house from had added a wall and done some weird stuff in their to turn it into a bedroom. So that required us to take the wall down to open in back up. Landon and my Brother in law Brandon had to do some serious work to the ceiling where the wall had been, and of course there was texturing and painting involved. Landon also had to rewire and or wire outlets and lights.

These are some before pictures of that space. Also what they were using for the closet in this makeshift bedroom is what became my sewing/craft room.

Demolition Time
The finished product is just what we hoped for. It really opened up the space and gave the kids somewhere to hang out-to watch tv, play games, or just chill. We even hung Chloe's swing in there and bought a huge bean bag to add to the fun atmosphere.

We went with a RedSox/Baseball theme for decor.

It's so nice to have an extra space like this, it's one of the things we have always wanted. A place where the kids, cousins, family and friends can come to hang out.
