Summer Games Gold Medal Champions

This week Tanner's team played in the Utah Summer Games Tournament. They had games starting on Thursday. Landon had to work, but my Grandma and I were able to go up and watch. They won both.
They had more games Friday and once again won both.
So they were undefeated and made it to the gold medal championship game on Saturday...
Landon and Tanner spent the night in Cedar Friday for scout camp-so my Grandma gave me and the kids a ride back up to the Championship game. Glad we went they ended up wining 9-0. It was a great game. My Grandma was feeling a little bad for the other team-ha ha! Tanner played an awesome round of games. He didn't get much action in left field, but he hit and ran the bases really well. I think he only struck out once the entire tournament, though he did get out a couple other times on a caught ball, or throw out and first, usually though he was on base and running.
His fans minus great Grandma Marshall-I need a picture of her....
 Awards Ceremony...
This was a happy happy moment for this team. The Gators started out 2 years ago and played their first game as a team at the Summer Games Tournament. They have worked hard and really progressed. Look how far they have come-from losing all four games the first time. To winning all five this time.

Just like his Daddy...

This baby boy likes to suck on anything he can- his hand, his fingers, his toys, his binky. I try not to let him suck on his hands and fingers because I don't want to have to break him of that habit later on. The other day we went on a walk and when I got back I realized he had taken his binky out and fallen asleep sucking on his fingers-just like his Daddy used to do. It was to cute not to snap a picture.

21 weeks old

He has really grown by leaps and bounds in the last week. He started rolling over on June 18, and added pear juice to the list of things he is eating/drinking besides milk. He loves to hold his feet when he is laying down, he will pull them up and grab onto them, sometimes they even make it into his mouth.

Swim Fun

As a reward, for her hard work all week at gym camp with minimal play time, on Friday when she was done I took Chloe and a friend swimming at the Washington Rec Center. They had a blast! These two are the best of friends-love them!

Bryce got in on the fun-he loved this bouncy swing over the water, but I couldn't get him to look at me. He probably spent a good hour in here.
He wore himself out...

Gym Camp

All last week Chloe had Gym Camp. It was from 9 to 2 everyday Monday through Friday. At first she wasn't sure if it was going to be fun because it was sooo long and she would be missing swim team, but she ended up really enjoying it. A few weeks ago I got a sweet deal on some leotards on the online yard-sale sight (my favorite addiction-ha ha). So with the ones we bought and the one Grandma Tawny made her she almost had enough to wear a different one every day of the week. It's all about the leo right?
On the last day they did some fun contests and had an awards ceremony-dang I missed it, I must have missed the memo, but here she is after with her fun medal.

Rolling, Rolling, Rolling

Look who started rolling...

Tuesday June 18.
There's no stopping him now!

First Swim Meet of the Season

On Saturday Chloe had her first Swim Meet of the Season. Despite the tough competition she totally rocked! She swims in the 9-10 year old division this year and just turning 9 she is up against some pretty good 10 year olds. In fact one of the girls she was swimming against could stay under water for almost the entire first length-it was impressive. Not to be outdone Chloe has for the last few days been practicing staying under water for farther-ha ha. She also has to swim 50 meters this year instead of 25, which now involves a flip turn on some of the races.
Here are the numbers
200 Meter Free Relay-her team took second with a time of 3:28.11
50 Meter Breast- Chloe took 3rd out of 21 girls with a time of 1:05.13
100 Meter IM-Chloe took 4th out of 5 with a time of 2:11.45 (this is a really hard race-not many swim it)
200 Meter Medley Relay-her team took second with a time of 4:26.63
50 Meter Free Chloe took 3rd out of 24 with a time of 51.03
Her coach said this might kind of be Chloe's slow year, since she will be one of the youngest in her age division and also since she is just so tiny compared to the other girls. I'd say those are pretty good results for a slow year :) However, she might not get the first place wins like she was used to a lot last year, but that's okay as long as her time is improving each time.

 Ready to go...
You can't really see well in the picture but she is already getting out of the water in this race and everyone else is still swimming...

#Super Soaker Party

I am a member of a group called HouseParty and from time to time I get lucky and win a party package. Can you say that my kids were ecstatic with the last party package I won. It was a Nerf Super Soaker and Cheetos House Party. They sent me 5 Nerf water guns, 15 $5 off Nerf water gun coupons, 12 bags of Cheetos Puffs, 20 $1 off 1 bag of Cheetos Puffs coupons, and some Nerf Rub On Tattoos.
Last Saturday we had a big block party with all the loot-It was tons of fun. We started out with a BBQ, then played a game-hotshot ( where you shoot ping pong balls off golf tees). After that it was time for a big water fight, and then a nice game of water kickball. It was a blast. The kickball game got a little intense at times but was lots and lots of fun. I think the party ended up lasting like 3 hours we were all ready for bed by the time we got home.

20 Weeks Old

20 weeks old and growing like a weed. We have had to adjust his car seat to the biggest it will go and also adjust his bouncer up a notch cause his legs were too long. He started eating solid foods this week and is laughing a lot more.

First Solid Foods

On Thursday June 13 we gave Bryce a taste of his first solid foods. I waited longer with him than I did with my other kids, and I was planning on waiting even longer with him than I did, but I just changed my mind for several reasons. One being that the kids were always like can we give him a taste of this or that and he was really wanting it. Another being that he had started waking up like every 2 hours at night and I just thought it might help him sleep longer. So far my theory has been right and the last three nights he has slept five hours at a time instead of two, hopefully I didn't just jinx myself.
He seemed to enjoy his rice cereal, and now the kids are asking when he can eat something else like pears.
