18 weeks old

Well little Bryce is 18 weeks old today and I know it's cheesy to say but we just love him more and more everyday. He is such a fun boy. He loves loves loves his brother and sister and will talk and talk to them. He has started sucking on his toes when he can manage to get them in his mouth. Landon reminded me that Tanner used to do the same thing. I had completely forgotten.

Party at Great Grandma's

Yesterday Great-Grandma Marshall had over all the great grandkids that live in town. The kids had a blast playing on the slip n slide, climbing the tree, and eating noodles and watermelon. It was lots of fun. Glad we have so many cousins around to do fun things with.
Bryce was all tuckered out after all the fun.

Family Pictures 2013

And  now the moment you have all been waiting for...
the unveiling of our new family pictures. We love how they turned out and there are so many to chose from that I can't possibly put them all on here, but I will put a few or a lot of our favorites. Thank you Heather Stott they turned out great!

Memorial Day Weekend

This is the first time in a long time that we have been home on Memorial Day. It was kind of nice, but in the same sense we kind of didn't know what to do with ourselves. Landon was kind of under the weather as well so our options were limited because he didn't feel up to doing a whole lot.
Saturday we just kind of hung out-the kids played with friends, I did errands, Landon and Tanner practiced baseball-that sort of thing.
Sunday we went to the baby blessing and lounged around. Late Sunday afternoon we went to a nice little trail Landon had heard about, took a leisure walk, played at the pond, and then made smores before coming home. The walk was called the Water Walk and we hadn't ever been there before. It is super close to our house, and short. There is a trail you can hike up right by it but we didn't have anything to carry Bryce in so we are going to try it next time. And there will be a next time-Chloe loved it we had to drag her away crying. Tanner not so much, he just doesn't dig the outdoors as much as Chloe. He does like to hike though, so hopefully next time he'll have a little more fun. Bryce slept the entire time we were there.
Monday we had a big water fight, complete with 250 water balloons, which took at least and hour to fill! We also went out to lunch-we decided to try something new and went to Apollo Burger. It was alright but not our favorite place, so I doubt we will go back anytime soon. All in all we had a nice weekend just hanging out together.

Breckon's Blessing and First Owie

On Sunday my nephew Breckon was blessed. We went to his blessing and then to a family dinner. It was all very nice. Landon had gone home before the pictures since he has been battling a nasty cold. Look how cute the little guy is, and look how much bigger Bryce looks even though he is only a few months older he looks huge compared to the little guy.
At the dinner I was trying to put some tinfoil on a plate of food for Landon. I was holding Bryce at the same time and the whole roll fell out of the box and hit Bryce in the nose. He screamed bloody murder! Now he has a nice scratch across his nose-poor baby. I'm just glad this didn't happen before our family pictures.

School's Out

Well school is officially out for Summer Break. Last Friday was the last day. The kids pretty much just had a fun week all week at school-parties, treats, field-trips, field day, free dress day, yearbook signing, and dances. Ha Ha yes I said dances can you believe Tanner is old enough to be having a school dance. The funny thing is that this year he didn't even seem to mind although I don't think he did any slow dancing, which is fine with me.
Tanner's class had a party after school on Friday with the whole class. I was a bit shocked when I went to pick him up at the end and all the girls were like "bye Tanner" and several had asked him for his phone number. Not surprising that they liked him cause what's not to like, just surprising that he is getting so grown up and he is at a new stage in life.
To celebrate Chloe went swimming with some of the neighborhood friends and then we had a little barbecue.  Bryce got in on the swimming-look at his cute swim gear...
It was a fun day!!!
The kids both had a great school year and finished off with a bang. Tanner managed to get another straight A report card. Chloe almost did. Same old same old for her just barely missing it in math by a couple of points. We are still super proud of them both, especially since the 3rd trimester is kind of hard to get the A's in.
It feels so nice though to be able to have a break-the homework at their school is intense and takes a lot of time and work not only from the students but from the parents as well. I think we will all enjoy the next few months as much as possible.

17 weeks old

Bryce is now 17 weeks old and getting stronger and more alert everyday. The last few days he has been really crying or screaming. I am hoping it's just after effects from his shots and not a major change in our usually happy boy. Yesterday he went swimming for the first time, he really just put his feet in since the water is still a little cold :)

Weekly Little League Update

This year the little league season has been rough. I don't think Tanner has ever had a losing little league season before now. It has been hard on everyone. Landon kept saying I hope we can just make it through this season and it's not necessarily Tanner who has had the off year, but the team he is on, although I do have to say that Tanner's hitting has been in a slump, other than that he has done some really good things.
Tuesday Mariners vs. Redsox we lost I don't know by how much but we lost. Highlight-Tanner caught the whole game and he had a throw out at second.

 Go Tanner...
Thursday Mariners vs Padres. Guess What? We won 21 to 12 WOOHOO!!!! It was good to end the season on a win. This was the last game of the season although there is a tournament in 2 weeks. Bryce is becoming Tanner's biggest fan.
Chloe entertaining Bryce with her sock puppet.
Highlights Tanner pitched all but the last inning and he did AWESOME! In the three innings he pitched they only score 1 run the other 11 runs were scored in the last inning. He had several strike outs and I don't think he walked anyone. Oh yeah and I better not forget that he hit 3/4 times he was up and got on base 2 of those times-so that's even better.
