Spring Soccer

Chloe has started up the spring soccer season. Her team this year is the Aqua Crush-awesome name huh ;)
She missed the first game cause that was the weekend we were gone skiing, but has played in every game since then. She has also scored goals in each game she has played in as well-looks like she picked right back up where she left off. She loves, loves, loves her soccer!!!

Owies

Bryce is a walking terror right now. I swear he is constantly falling down and hitting his head, or nose, or mouth. Some weeks he will have about 5 bloody lips or noses cause he is always bonking himself. In this picture he had cried himself to sleep after knocking himself in the head with a metal baseball bat. Don't ask me why he was carrying it around or even how he could lift it.
You can see the bruises on both sides of his head if you look here oh yes and can you see that road rash on his chin, from falling on the sidewalk at great-grandmas house. I was in the store and a lady in line by me was like-he must be learning how to walk huh? she could tell from all of his bruises and owies.
Then here is the latest-yep those two little marks on the side of his head are fork wounds, somehow he managed to not only get a metal fork, but fall on it and jab it into his head-I am just glad it wasn't his eye.

Ski Trip

Still trying to catch up, but am getting closer.
A few weeks ago we took a little ski trip. Landon and I love to ski, but haven't gone in several years. We took Tanner a few times when he was little, but he hasn't gone in probably like 6 years or so.
Here the kids are ready to hit the slopes...
We decided to have the kids take an hour long session with an instructor just to get them in the swing of things. It was just the two of them and the instructor so they were able to cover a lot of ground. Since they started a little late, he actually gave them an hour and a half. While he had them he taught them the basics as well as loading and unloading on the lift.
While the kids were with the ski instructor Landon and I went off and did a little skiing on our own. It was fun. My ears have a really hard time in the cold, so I always look like a thief in my full on face mask.
At the end of the kids ski session we picked them up and went up to the lodge for some lunch. That was a joke. We paid like $50 for the four of us to each lunch. WOW!!!-next time we are packing a cooler with some subway sandwiches and a thermos of hot cocoa-they probably would have tasted better anyways.

After lunch we headed out to the slopes and skied the rest of the day until it closed at 4. It was lots of fun and we all got sunburned-ha-ha! By the end of the day Chloe was going down the hill so fast I couldn't even keep up with her if I tried, so her and Landon kind of skied together while Tanner and I took things at a more leisurely pace. Chloe will probably be like Landon and be a more aggressive skier. She is just fearless! At one point her took her straight off the face down through some powder and she handled it like a champ-she even tried a few jumps-ha-ha. Love that little spunky girl. Love Tanner too and glad I have someone to ski with my while the other two are racing down the hill, and before long we can have Bryce along for the ride-only time will tell what kind of skier he will become.
Chloe was so worn out she was asleep within 5 minutes of getting in the truck.

Remodel-Before

For the past three weeks we have been living in a construction zone. We have taken the carpet out of all three bedrooms, done some painting to two of the bedrooms, and completely gutted and redone the master bathroom. It has been quite an undertaking. More so than we realized when we decided to do it. This Wednesday we should finally get our carpet in and we are working on the finishing touches here and there.
Here are some before pictures as well as construction pictures.
Master Bedroom Before...

Chloe scrapping the floors to get them ready for the carpet...
Landon completely covered in mud as he works on the tiling...

The painting crew. One night my sister Tiffanie and her husband came over and helped us do some of the painting. A couple of neighbor kids joined in as well-it was quite a group. We got a lot done that night. Here the kids are all hanging out during their pizza dinner break.

Chloe's dresser and nightstand-going from pink to blue
Chloe's room after we got the pink wall covered up-if you can't tell she really doesn't like pink-haha!
Texturing being done on the Master Bedroom Walls
Dave and Landon practicing un-safe sawing practices as they work on the cabinets and counter tops. I am just glad I didn't have to take Landon to the ER for any more saw injuries.
It is definitely a work in progress, but we are so close to being done. I will be so happy to have everything put back together and be able to get the dust and dirt off of everything once and for all.

I will hopefully be posting the after pictures soon :)

Misc. Camera Pictures

I just can't resist taking out my camera every know and then to catch a cute little shot of my handsome little man. Love him to pieces!

Baseball

The past three weekends we have attended a lot of baseball games. Tanner has had games every weekend. Two weekends he played in tournaments and then yesterday he played two scrimmage games with a team from up north.
For the most part his defense has been exceptional, but he has struggled a little bit with his hitting. This last game was better as he seemed to be trying to be a bit more aggressive.

Bryce is always happy if he is at a ball game-
He is a baseball addict at just over 1 :)
Last weekend I had to take Tanner to Overton, NV for a few of his games. Luckily my Grandma rode down with us to keep me company.

Look at this cute little dragon sharing some treats with his sister.

This weekend we had company in town, so Tanner had a big cheering section with all of his cousins and siblings in attendance. Aunt Brenda and Grandma Tawny and Jeff were able to attend some of them as well.
Bryce is just as big as the rest of the gang!
At Tanner's last game Bryce made a little friend who was about 6 weeks older than him, and they were attempting to play catch-it was so cute.
