Valentines

Well I'm a whole week late again on my post but here it is anyway.
The week before Valentines Day Chloe asked Landon to make her a dolphin Valentine box. My suggestion was that he just slap a few pictures of dolphins onto a shoebox and call it good. However being the Dad that he is that just wouldn't do. He went and bought the supplies to construct a paper-mache dolphin. Complete with all the features of a real dolphin including the blow hole. Chloe was so excited and so proud to take her dolphin to school on Valentines Day:) She has such a good daddy :)

Tanner gave out Mad Lib Valentines...(His said things like-I am MAD about you; You have MAD skills; I can't LIB without you) Funny story when Tanner was ready to leave for school I told him that he looked really nice and to have fun at the Valentines dance. He almost had a heart attack right there and I had to promise him there was no dance to get him out the door to school-lol. You see the sixth grade is having there first dance the last day of school and Tanner is already planning on reasons for him to not go to school that day-he really is not looking forward to it. Poor Kid.

Chloe gave out these...
Here are the ones I made for the kids I work with (Thanks Taryn for the link)...

Landon and I like to just spend Valentines at home with each other and the kids, because if you try to go anywhere it is crazy busy. So we ordered Chili's in and I made us these special treats. They were so yummy!

I love my family and my life!

Chloe's Newest Trick

She has gone from a standing back handspring to a full out running back handspring her coach says in a few more weeks she will remove the hand spot as well. Right now she is mainly doing it until she is sure Chloe will stay consistent.

Hmmm... I wonder

A few days ago I was out running a few errands and I came home to find these hanging on the wall. Hmmm...I wonder what they could be-lol. I only have 2 more days before I can unwrap them and see exactly what is hiding underneath.

Our Week

It has been a pretty busy week as I am just getting to posting the weeks happenings. Here is what has been going on...

The kids have been super busy with school, scouts, and their athletic events. Chloe wasn't feeling well for a lot of last week and we just couldn't figure out why-no fever, sore throat, etc.. Well yesterday we finally figured it out. She said her tooth was hurting and when we looked in her mouth noticed it had a big hole in it and a big puss pocket on her gums. Which means it is abscessed. We think a little piece must have broken off her tooth somehow causing this, because she was just at the dentist for a checkup less than a month ago and her teeth were great. The dentist called her in an antibiotic to get her through the weekend and she has to go in tomorrow probably to get it pulled.

I have started back to school for the semester and so far I love one class and hate the other. The one I am struggling with is my writing class-I hate writing papers! I really procrastinate in that class and it's even worse since it is only once a week. I am usually up late the night before or even worse up early the morning before trying to come up with a paper. Ugh. I also have had a problem with gout-yep only 30 (in a few days) and having this problem. Though it seems to be doing better. I was pretty sick a few weeks ago with my migraine problems and the stomach flu the doctors gave me some medicine and we think that is what caused the gout flare up. At least I can walk now without limping.

Beckett has become a member of the family. He is such a good dog. We decided that his middle name should be Chewbacca or Chewie after the Wookie in the Star Wars movies because he makes a growling noise that sounds exactly like Chewbacca. It's pretty funny. Sorry if your not a star wars fan you won't know what I'm talking about here. We have also put him in obedience school. He is doing great and he has only had one class so far. Look how well he is sitting for this picture :)

Oh yeah and here is what happened to my car in the parking lot a PetSmart during Beckett's first class. Some guy ran into it. Luckily he came in the store and found me and is going to pay to fix it.

Well that's our week in a nutshell. Hopefully I'll do better this week posting more often but no promises there.
