Family Pictures 2016

Well another successful family photo shoot in the books. I wish the teenager would at least try and smile in a few of these, but you know I guess it is what it is.
I love my family so much. It is very important to me to get family pictures taken each year, to document the changes.

Here are a few of my favorites...

 Our kids...

 Bryce-

 Chloe-

 Tanner-

Love this one. It shows how much he loves them!
Bryce wanted a picture with everyone and him. :)

 Real Genuine smiles from Tanner.

He also wanted a picture in the sand.
I had to get one with each of my kids.

Halloween

At Miss Gaye's house during the day Bryce had his face painted like a cat. Well it came time to go trick or treating and Bryce decided he didn't want to wash the face paint off. So he went as a gecko/cat. It's Halloween right?
Landon and I wore the other two pj masks to complete his trio.
Chloe wore her pineapple and made sure to get a picture with our scary clown.
Tanner had to work, and chose not to dress up ;)

We went trick or treating to my Grandma Marshalls. We met up with Sandi and her family out there. Chloe thought it was fun that she was a pineapple and Adee was a carrot. After visiting with Grandma for a bit, we went trick or treating to a fun neighborhood we had heard of. It was worth it...cotton candy, home made donunts, root beer floats, smores, and lots of candy and other treats. The kids had fun.

After that we made a few more stops at a couple of friends houses and then called it a night.

I don't know if Bryce was just worn out from all of the fun, but that night he ran a fever and wasn't feeling all that great. The next day he stayed home from the babysitters, but seemed to bounce back to normal.

Halloween @ School

I dressed up for work. Our group of sped teachers and para's went with the Big Bad Wolf and Three Little Pigs Theme. (there were actually four pigs-haha)

Since I had to walk in the parade I was able to get a picture of Chloe and some of her friends when we went by them.
It's kind of sad to think this is her last school Halloween Parade ever!

Carving Pumpkins

The night before Halloween we carved pumpkins for our family night activity.
Bryce was really excited to carve them, but he didn't want anything to do with scooping out the insides. He told Landon he wanted his to have a mad face, and then he scowled and frowned to show him how he wanted it.
Chloe made hers into the guy from the Nightmare before Christmas.

Happy Halloween!!! #carvingpumpkins #halloweentradition

Ward Halloween Party

A few nights before Halloween we attended our wards annual trunk-or-treat. They serve dinner and then all of the kids go trunk or treating. Chloe decided that if Bryce wasn't going to wear his Wolverine costume she wasn't going to wear her Black Widow one either, so the day before we made her this cute pineapple. She actually mostly made it herself with a little bit of guidance.

Bryce showing off his "super gecko muscles".
Our neighbor has this cute spider decoration, so it was the perfect backdrop for some pictures before the party.
 Cute Pineapple
 Super Hereos
Landon took Bryce around. He got tons of treats and had so much fun. We convinced him to put on his head mask for awhile, but he wouldn't wear it over his eyes-funny kid.

 Crazies

It was a fun night for everyone. We invited Tanner, but he declined. He had better things to do like go to the corn maze with his girlfriend.

Softball

Landon has joined a softball team. I think it is good for him to get out and play, maybe relieve a little bit of stress from the work week and crazy life of raising kids.
The kids think it is fun to go to his games and watch.
Everything is great until he tries to get fancy and does crazy things like sliding into 2nd base on rock hard dirt. OUCH!!! He's going to feel that one for weeks to come. Secretly I think he was trying to show off for me a little bit ;)

Trunk or Treat at Preschool

Last year on clearance I bought the whole family marvel costumes. I had a plan, but Bryce had other ideas. He didn't want to be Wolverine. He really wanted to be Gekko off PJ Masks. Of course he is spoiled so he got his wish, and I ordered him a Gekko costume. It was a high quality one with the full head piece and gloves and the works, but guess what when it came he hated the head piece and never really wore it-again he had his own plans. He also wanted Tanner and Chloe to both be one of the PJ Masks as well-Tanner Cat Boy and Chloe Owlette. Since they both love him so much they at least put the masks on for him from time to time.

Bryce's preschool had a trunk or treat. I was so glad that I was able to leave work for a little bit and go over to it. Even though Bryce wouldn't wear his headpiece or mask he did let me dye his hair green. The preschool kids were all so cute in their costumes. Lots of the parents decorated their cars and did fun things as the kids walked around. I sat at Sandi's car with her-maybe next year I will plan ahead and do something cute with mine.

I love my little Gekko, even if he doesn't always do things according to my plan :)
