18 Months Old

Little Bryce is now officially 18 months old. Can you believe it?!
My Sister was doing some other pictures so I asked her if she would snap a few of Bryce. They turned out great-especially considering the fact that he was very uncooperative and just wanted to play on the playground equipment and did not want to smile at us.
Little Athlete in the making...
In the rest of them you can see his mischievous streak-lol. What a cutie pie though.

We couldn't love him more.
Things to remember about Bryce at 18 months
He doesn't like to eat hardly anything (exceptions being noodles, cereal, crackers, ice cream, and treats)
He loves his bottle and always asks for milk.
He still usually doesn't sleep through the night.
So far he is not a fan of nursery although he has only officially gone twice.
His "NaN" (Tanner) is his best friend and he wants to be with him every second he can.
He has learned to climb and can climb up onto almost anything without assistance.
He loves to play ball of any kind.
He loves Monsters and Kitties (good combination huh?)
He is super smart and very vocal for an 18 month old. He communicates with us really well.
He can tell us when he needs to go to the bathroom but is scared of his potty so I don't know if it will go anywhere at this point or not.
When he runs he swings one of his arms...it is the cutest thing to watch.
He likes to talk to Grandma Tawny every morning on the phone and give her lots of long distance kisses.

Big Ouch!!!

Saturday after we got home from Preslie's Party Chloe took a big crash. She went to chase Bryce's beach ball down the street and just completely bit it and face planted hard. We think she was just so tired from her swim meets and the party and just caught her shoe wrong and just fell.
She was hurt bad. Her nose and under her lip were scraped up really bad (she didn't want to go to church on Sunday cause she was embarrassed about how she looked :(-poor girl ) She also scrapped up her hand and toe pretty badly as well. In fact her toe was bad enough that it kept her out of the water (no swim team) for an entire week.

She pretty much laid around the rest of the evening and then next few days.

Preslie's 1st Birthday

Saturday Evening we went over to Preslie's 1st Birthday Party. I was lots of fun. We are lucky to have her as part of our daily lives. I can't believe how much her face looks just like Sandi when she was little...every-time I look at her it is like a flash back to the past. She has such a cute toothy smile...we love her even though she never stops and always keeps me on my toes.
My Grandma and Sandi made her this cute rubber duck cake (that was the theme for her birthday).
Sandi had two small pools for the babies filled with little rubber ducks. They had a blast in them.
The older kids and adults got to swim in the big pool.

Happy Birthday Little Girl-We Love You LOTS!!!

Championship Swim Meet

Last Friday and Saturday was Chloe's Championship Swim Meet. They hold it every year between 4 teams-Dixie, Freedonia, Hurricane, and Mesquite. There are tons of participants so it takes to days. The first day is the preliminaries for all of the races except the relays. The relay races are final on Friday. The top 6 swimmers in each event swim in the finals on Saturday. The swimmers also earn points based on what place they  take and at the end the team with the most points takes home a huge trophy until the next year. As long as Chloe has been swimming Freedonia has always won this event...I don't know if Dixie ever has, but guess what this year they did! Woot, Woot!!! Chloe had a great swim meet and really helped rack up some points for her team. Oh yes and at this meet they give out medals for 1st-3rd (a big deal for Chloe). 4th-6th get ribbons. Chloe swam five events-freestyle relay, backstroke, individual medley, medley relay, and freestyle.
Chloe and Mom-chillin before her first race. Luckily the pool was only about a block from our house so part of the time Bryce was able to hang out at home with Tanner.
Chloe's first race was the freestyle relay. Her team totally rocked it and took 1st-GOLD MEDAL!!!
Her second race was the backstroke...when she was done we both kind of thought she probably hadn't made it to the finals cause she kind of had a bad turn, but alas when they posted the times look who came in 6th and made it to the next day.
Little Bryce loves the personal misting system that Landon bought and he decided to use it for his personal water fountain.
Daddy hurried over right after work on Friday to see Chloe swim her individual medley.
Then went home to change real quick and hurried back for the rest of the meet.

On Friday Chloe also swam the individual medley, freestyle, and relay medley. Her relay medley team took 3rd (Bronze Medal) and she easily made it to the finals in both of her other events.

Bright and early Saturday morning enjoying some licorice.
 Chillin...
Chloe's first race on Saturday morning was the backstroke. She ended up taking 4th place overall.
 Cutie...
 Enjoying her licorice straw
 Her events...
Her second race on Saturday was the individual medley...she ended up taking 2nd overall. (Dang Saydee Fox from Freedonia-LOL)
(I couldn't get the video of this race to upload :( )
Her last race on Saturday was the Freestlye...this is her best and favorite race.
She ended up taking another second place...losing just barely once again to Saydee Fox

Chloe did so well at this swim meet. She took places in all of her events and got personal records in them as well. We are so proud of our little girl. #ourgirl #partfish

Mesquite Dual Swim Meet #2 7/12/14

We got to Mesquite and set up camp-settling in to enjoy the well over 100 degree weather. We survived-although Landon did run to Wal-Mart at one point and bought us a personal misting system.
Chloe and Bryce doing a little dance to celebrate-they both sure were happy at an early hour.
Chillin in his camp chair-isn't he the cutest thing ever?!
We brought lots of books, snacks, drinks, and of course electronic devices to keep the kids entertained and to help pass the time.
This swim meet was between Dixie and Mesquite. Chloe preformed so well in all of her events. Unfortunately the video on my camera for some reason didn't work it had some sort of glitch going on, so we lost all of the footage of her races-GRRR!!! Not very happy-but alas that's life and not much I can do about it now. Chloe easily won in every heat she swam in. She also got personal bests on all of her times.
They use an app called meet mobile at some of the swim meets. As we drove home we waited to be able to get good enough service to view the final results. The whole car broke into cheers as Chloe announced she had taken 1st overall in both the freestyle and individual medley. Woot Woot! Way to go Chloe!!! We love our little swimmer and couldn't be prouder of her-she has worked so hard this year. #ourgirl #partfish
