Christmas Break

The day after Christmas the kids decided to ride up to Fillmore with my Mom and Jeff to see their cousins. They also came up with the brilliant idea that when she headed back home she could just drop them off with their other Grandma and they could stay with her for the next week or so, until Landon, Bryce, and I came up there on New Years Eve. They were both super excited to go-although Chloe was just a little bit torn about leaving her new room behind.
Time to hang out with cousins...
My Uncle Kenneth came over for awhile and got them playing in the snow-then Uncle Cody took them all sledding for awhile-they had a blast!

They always have so much fun together-just wish they could get together more.
Later that evening my Mom headed out...their other Grandma picked them up when she got off work and headed home.
Luckily my Mom was able to come back to St. George for a few more days before heading back to Arizona. Saturday morning we went to the Black Bear Diner for Breakfast with her and Jeff, my Grandma Marshall, and my sister Sandi. Bryce thought the statues of the black bears were pretty cool.
Then we went out to do a little skeet shooting-Bryce hated the guns so him and I ended up sitting in the truck most of the time and eventually just went back to Great Grandmas to wait it out. It was a nice long visit, but we are already missing them and hope they will come back soon.
The next week went on as normal for us-although it was rather quite and we honestly got a little lonely without the two older kids around. Meanwhile they were having lots of fun a Grandma Wendy's house with most of their cousins-who either live their or close by. They made cotton candy, made a volcano, and spend lots of time in the snow.
We had a nice little break, but were really glad to finally be headed up to see them come Wednesday afternoon.

The Grand Unveiling-Chloe's Room

Chloe was so anxious to be able to see her room makeover. She had been kept out for the past several weeks as Landon was busy building away. Christmas morning finally came and surprisingly she wanted to wait until all of her other presents were opened and Grandma Tawny was here before she went inside-save the best for last was her thinking.
Finally time to go inside...

I made a video of her going in...but unfortunately I can't get it to upload. Too bad cause it was super cute. All Landon's hard work and planning paid off-it turned out even better than expected!!! The one bed goes wall to wall and has a little reading area on the end after the mattress ends.
It actually opened her room up a lot and gave her lots of space underneath-she can read, craft, build a hut, whatever she wants.
  Some Decor details...
Here was another surprise in her room...thanks to her BFF Brydee and her Mom. This is what Brydee gave Chloe for Christmas- a photo wall collage. Her Mom came and hung it up a few days before Christmas-it adds the perfect touch and she loved it.
All the kids trying out the new set up.
She absolutely loves it. So lucky to have a Dad who is able to whip something like this up.

Christmas Day

The kids were up a little before 5-wide awake and excited to go see what was under the tree. I asked Bryce if he thought Santa came and he told me "no"-haha.
Look at his face...is this for me? I guess Santa did come after all. Can you guess what he named him? yep Cinch-after his favorite pony at Uncle Layne's.
First up on the list for the older kids-stockings of course.
Bryce was happy about the Olaf Pez he found in his stocking.
Bryce wanted to open up and play with every present before he opened another, so it took him a little longer than everyone else.
Tanner is at the age where clothes are really an exciting and welcome gift-especially if Dad and Mom go shopping at the right store.
Bryce was trying so hard to get all of the animals for his new barn out of this giant box-it almost swallowed him up.
The kids always ask 'Santa' to leave a treasure hunt for their biggest surprise.
Oh yeah-he finally got some beats-I told him they were sold out black Friday...which they were but I happened to get them on an even better deal a few days before black Friday-tricky Mom.
Chloe had no idea what her surprise even was...hmmm Justin what's that?
Seriously?! Cowgirl boots-I thought you had crossed that right off my list as soon as I gave it to you was her reply-haha!

Oh yeah and don't forget the grand unveiling of Chloe's new room ( I will do a separate post on that). She love it though-Daddy did a good job!
Let's ride Sis!

My Mom and Jeff came over to bring the kids their present and see all their loot. My Mom made Bryce this awesome table top ten-it is a barn-he absolutely loves it.
Later on we went out to Grandma Marshall's house. My whole family came over and we had lunch and hung out. Grandma made each of her Great-Grandkids a new blanket this Christmas. She was super busy I think she made like 26. The kids loved them. Landon and I lucked out and got one too.
So after Grandmas house we all went home and cuddled up and took a nice winters nap-we needed one after our early morning.
We love Christmas! We love our Savior and the reason we Celebrate this Day! We love the Spirit it brings and the time get to spend with our family. It really is the most wonderful time of the year.
