A Beautiful Sight

This last week has been fun, but I have been so exhausted. It probably has something to do with dealing with two additional kids and then working, plus doing everything else I needed to do. Everynight when the kids were finally asleep I just couldn't help but think what a beautiful sight it was.

Pirate Island Pizza

St. George has a new restaurant called Pirate Island Pizza. Last night we went there for Family Night. It was actually pretty cool. The whole interior decor is kind of like walking into a pirates of the carribean movie. The waiters all slightly resemble Captain Jack Sparrow. They even do shows at different times. The kids were all so excited to be there they loved it. They liked wearing their pirate hats (which are actaully the kids menus), and walking around seeing all the cool decor, they especially liked the arcade that is part of the restaurant. It has lots of fun pirate themed games and pirate loot you can get with your tickets.

And So it Begins

Well my sister is gone for the week her and her husband Cody went down to California to go on a cruise. They left yesterday. So what does that mean for me -2 extra kids.
I am already begining to realize just how hard it is to throw two extra kids into the mix of things. It's not that they are really being bad or that we've had any major problems it's just the fact that you realize when you have someone else's kids for that long it kind of throws off your whole families routine. I also forgot what it was like to have to change diapers or sit in the nursery with a kid who didn't want to be there. Luckily my mom is here until tomorrow and she has had the kids part of the time too.
This afternoon we had dinner at my Grandmas. It was very good. The picture is of all the kids on her front porch swing.

Fun in Flowell

As I already mentioned we were in Flowell for the weekend. The kids had lots of fun playing with their cousins. The new favorite game at least for Tanner and Kylie-Risk. They must have played it at least 10 times, and at one point they had a 4 hour game going with Uncle Layne. They also had fun riding the 4 wheeler a little bit, it was kind of cold so they didn't get to play outside a whole lot, which made for a lot of noise in the house with 9 kids, but at least they all had fun.

Productive Weekend

We went to Flowell for the weekend. Overall it was a very productive weekend. I found a whole bunch of scrapbook kits I had laying around before we left and decided to put them togther while we were up there. I got a lot done, and I caught up my Project 365.

Project 365

I got this idea from my sister inlaw Taryn, however I was to late to order the kit (it was all sold out) so I had do a little bit of different elements with mine. Pebbles has an album that is kind of similiar to the 365 project, so I decided to use their products and stuff for mine.I'm really excited about this project and think it is turning out great!
For those of you who don't know Project 365 is a picture and a journal for each day of the year. I think it's a great way to remeber those little things, and to use up all those picts you take throughout the year, but you don't really have enough of to do a full scrapbook page.

Happy Birthday to Me!

Well today is the big day I'm now 27 years old can you believe it. Landon and the kids made me a cake after church I was surprised because we kind of already celebrated yesterday.
Yesterday my dad and mom and Grandma came over and we opened presents. The kids each had gotten me something by themselves and of course they made me find them first. Tanner got me some candy for my stash and Chloe got me a nice purse. Landon said she picked it out all by herself, and thankfully he was able to talk her out of the bright pink one she had her eyes on. She was a little upset because Grandma Wendy got me one to. She told me to sell the one Grandma gave me, but I told her it was okay I liked them both and would just keep both of them. Thanks Mom, Dad, Land, and Gram for the clothes and scrapbook stuff. And thanks sisters for the other things, and everyone else for the cards.
Earlier in the day on Saturday we helped my sister Tiffanie and her family move into their new houes. I am glad to have two of my sisters living here now I think it will be lots of fun. He house is nice and the kids had fun playing on the tramp out back while we moved, it was actually nice to have them out there because it kept them out of the way. While we were moving we stopped for a lunch break and for cake and ice cream to celebrate the Jan-March B-Day. Happy Birthday all Sandi, Brett, Tiffanie, Brandon, and myself
