Ellison Family Reunion Bear Lake Day 3

Day 3 of our Bear Lake Family Reunion called for a talent show in the morning and later that afternoon a trip to Bloomington Lake. Bloomington Lake is actually in Idaho, but wasn't very far from our cabin. The drive to the lake took about an hour because most of it was up a dirt mountain road. After getting to the top you have to hike a short way to the lake. The lake is really cold-there is still snow at one point of it. The lake has a rope swing and some cliffs you can jump off of. Landon, Tanner, and Chloe all went off the rope swing several times. The older kids and some of the older cousins hiked over and did some cliff jumping. Bryce and I decided just to watch all the happenings-he hates cold water as much as I do.
After playing for a bit we headed back to the cars and back down the road to the cabin. It's a long a bumpy ride, but we finally made it back to the paved road when Chloe announces that she left her phone at the lake-are you kidding me. I was so mad! I was just ready to get back to the cabin and relax, but instead we turned around and headed back to the lake. After driving back up-Landon and Chloe got out and ran to the lake-while the rest of us waited in the car. Landon said when they got to the lake Chloe took the liberty of going off the rope swing two times before looking for her phone-haha THAT GIRL!!! luckily she found it and they ran back to the car. Then it was onto the cabin. By the time we got there everyone else was wondering what in the heck had happened to us.
We had a nice rest of the night relaxing. The four oldest cousins, Tanner, Kylie, Dawson, and Madi, went to a local dance for teenagers. I think everyone had a good day.
The hike to the lake was beautiful

This is the glacier slide-Chloe and Makele tried sliding off of it. BRRR

Landon picked me this wild flower bouquet on his way back to the car after running to the lake to retrieve Chloe's phone. He was probably trying to help me not be so angry-LOL
