Purple Flames Finish the Season Strong

As we finished out the season the Purple Flames gave it their all. Each and every girl made progress. We saw great things out of each player. It was fun to see a different girl have a great moment during each game or inning, what was even better was seeing how the girls got along and rallied and supported each other. We really had a fun team. And even though lots of our games were super cold the girls never wanted to give up or not play-they played to then end every time. As the season wrapped up the flames continued to get lots of Wins. They had one loss and one tie in our league all year. In inter-league play the had a second loss. This puts us in the number one seed going into the championship games!!! YAY!!! GO FLAMES!!!

Some highlights for Chloe. She continued to catch-it is usually her favorite thing to do. She pitched more and more as the season went on. She would spend lots of extra time out in the garage working on her pitching and by the end of the season her pitching was more accurate and quicker than it was to start. She played third base a few times and made some really good plays there-she does a good job of making the throw from third to first. Probably the best moment was when she hit a real home run-not one off of errors. It was awesome to see. The smile on her face as she crossed home plate and her team running out to congratulate her were priceless.
