Last Softball Game for Reals-I mean last Two

Well even though the Championship Game was over. We still had one more softball game schedule and inter league game against a Snow Canyon team. This game ended up turning into two, because one of the teams that was supposed to play in the game following ours didn't show up. So of course being the die hard softball players that our girls are they willingly volunteered to stay and play a 2nd game. Luckily most of the parents were pretty good sports about the unplanned double header, and luckily it was the last week of school, so the fact that it turned into a pretty late night wasn't so bad. Our girls even turned down the ice cream party we were supposed to have at Artic Circle after our regular game to play the second one, but being the nice coach that I am I ran and brought the ice cream to them instead (mostly root beer floats were requested). It was quite a site seeing me pack about 9 root beer floats and a couple of shakes from my car to the baseball field.

We had decided going into this game to make it more of just a fun game for the girls. That meant we rotated around a lot and let girls play positions they might not have during the regular season. Chloe even got a little action at first base. We ended up losing the first game and winning the second. It was nice to end the season on a win.
