Deck The Halls

We had lots of fun decorating for Christmas. We usually do it the day after Thanksgiving if we are home, but Tanner had to work and we were pretty busy helping at Grandma's so we waited until Sunday when we could all be home and participate. The kids always look forward to this tradition. Tanner helped out, he just wasn't in the pictures. One thing we did different this year was that we had a fake Christmas tree-gasp! It's the first time in 17 years that we have. We bought a really nice one on Clearance last year and our plan is that every other year we will use the fake one. On the years we go to Fillmore for Thanksgiving we will cut down a real one. We made it through the decorating process with only a couple of ornaments and one wise man being broken in Bryce's excitement.

Landon, Chloe, and Bryce hung the lights on the outside of the house and then Chloe and a couple of her friends painted the windows.

We are all decorated now, and in full Christmas spirit around here. Every night Bryce makes sure he plugs in the lights and his inflatable BB8. I'll have to get a picture of it.  It's the most wonderful time of the year.
