Fillmore Fun: Cousins, Sledding, White Elephant Party

After Breakfast at my Grandmas Christmas morning we hit the freeway and headed to Fillmore. Since Tanner has his learners permit we let him drive for the first little bit. A little bit before Cedar the weather and roads started to get bad, so we pulled off and switched drivers. Good thing too cause this is what we hit a few minutes later. The roads were like this the rest of the way to Fillmore.

After we got to Fillmore we unloaded and chilled for a little bit. Then we went and met my Sister Mandy and her family at the sledding hill. The kids had fun sledding for the next little while. Bryce actually liked it this year. Last year he hated it.
Tanner was so good to take Bryce down the hill time after time and help him back up as well.
Saydee and Gavin got snowboards for Christmas, so of course Chloe had to test those out. And like anything else sporty-she rocked it, and was hooked after a few runs. LOL
My Cute Boys
After sledding for awhile we headed back down to Landon's parents where we enjoyed the rest of the evening hanging out with the family.
The next day called for more sledding. This time at Uncle Layne's house. With the aide of the 4-wheeler and tractor.
Look how is excited Bryce is-haha
Bryce loved this sledding adventure even more, because he helped drive the 4-wheeler the entire time. He loved it so much that even when his lips were turning blue, he didn't want to go in the house to warm up and he cried. He almost fell asleep warming up by the fire, but then woke back up and was ready for round two.
We finally were able to convince him to go back to Grandmas, while the older kids continued to sled until lunch time.
After sledding the rest of Landon's family showed up and we enjoyed a nice late "Christmas Dinner".
We enjoyed the rest of the day just chilling out and hanging out with the family.
That night we had our annual white elephant gift exchange. It's always fun. Landon seems to always end up with the best gifts. This year proved no different as he came away the winner of this nice throw back phone handset that hooks to your cellphone.
I can only imagine the looks he will get from people as he is driving down the road talking on this. HAHA
Though it's always lots of fun when the whole family is together. It can get a little hectic too. At one point I went looking for Bryce and found that he had taken a blanket  pillow, and a few toys behind a chair and made a little bed and gone to sleep. I guess that was his spot of refuge amiss all of the chaos.
Before we left we got a parting shot of all the grandkids, or at least tried too. No one is looking at the camera. While half the kids are crying and the other half are pulling crazy faces. HAHA
The really do love spending time together, even if this picture does not accurately portray it.
Until next time...
