Oven Fire

A few weeks ago when Bryce was really sick the kids and I took a sick day and all stayed home from church. Actually Tanner attended an earlier sacrament meeting, and then came home but he rest of us just took the day off. Except for Landon he doesn't really get that option much *wink*wink.

Anyways we were all in the kitchen. I was finishing up dinner preparations and the kids were hanging out. All of a sudden there was a loud pop and the lights all flickered. I opened the oven and it was on fire. We were able to get it. What happened is that the element in the oven started on fire. We ordered a new one. However the oven still didn't work because apparently when it caught fire it sent a charge back through the oven which burned up part of the main electrical board, hence the flicker in the power throughout the kitchen. So now we have that part ordered hoping it will get here soon and we will be able to use the oven once again. At least we have been able to use the stove top still even though the oven has been out of commission.
