In Fifth Grade they do the "Give Me Liberty" Program. The students can earn different levels of awards based on the requirements they are able to pass off during the year. There are 15 total requirements. 5=Bronze 10=Silver 15=Gold. As an added bonus there are and additional 5 requirements and if they do 3 of those than they can also get a t-shirt. The requirements are things such as write the pledge of allegiance, memorize the preamble, sing the start spangled banner, memorize a line from the declaration of independence, locate the 50 states and names the capitals, etc. Last week they had the Give Me Liberty Assembly and gave out the awards. Chloe earned gold and a t-shit. We are super proud of our girl and all her hard work.
