Chloe is playing softball again this spring. Her team is the "Blue Angels". Guess who her coach is? Yep her Dad (Landon). Landon decided that he needed a catcher and thought that Chloe would be the perfect candidate. He has spent some extra time the past few week working with her on how to play this position. WOW! I couldn't believe it. She did such a good job-she was dropping down to stop balls, jumping up to grab high ones, she would run after the runners, and throw it back to the pitcher almost perfectly every time. She even ripped off her helmet once on a play and another time tagged a runner out who was coming in to home. She only made 1 small error, which was an over throw to third trying to get a runner out, but overall I couldn't believe how well she played for never playing the position before. Not only that but catching is hard and she didn't whine or complain once. I think she has found a new calling and a new love in this sport. Landon will probably still have her pitch a little bit, but for the most part Chloe will be sitting behind home plate.
You couldn't find a cuter catcher either :)
