GWA had their annual fall carnival once again this year. So that meant cake decorating time. Chloe has decorated a cake for the cake contest/cake walk every year since about 1st grade I think. She said we had to do one this year, since it would be her last year at GWA. Usually it has been a tradition for Brydee to make one with us as well, and so the tradition continued.
Chloe chose a monster and Brydee chose a spider web. Thankfully my sister Tiffanie usually helps out a little bit with making the icing, rolling out fondant, offering guidance, and letting us use her cake decorating supplies.
I think the cakes turned out great. Honesty I think they both should have won a prize, but neither one did :( Oh well. Chloe wanted to win her cake back in the cake walk, but someone else had already won it when she did it.
Although I didn't really get any pictures at the carnival Bryce had lots of fun playing all the carnival games, playing on the inflatables, riding ponies, etc. Chloe had fun running around with her friends. It was a fun day, for everyone except maybe Landon-he hates things like that with big crowds. Luckily he loves us enough that he went with us anyways.
