Trimming The Christmas Tree

The day we got back from Fillmore we set up the Christmas tree. It is always an activity the kids look forward too. Tanner went into work that afternoon, and we went ahead and decorated it without him. I didn't think much about it, but when he got home he was pretty upset with us for doing it without him. Christmas is his favorite holiday. Lesson learned: even though your children grow up and you think they might not care about something anymore, chances are that if it is a family tradition they will still want to be involved. At least in the future I will remember this.

I think the tree turned out better than it has in years. #ohchristmastree
