Christmas Day

Christmas Day this year was definitely one to remember. The kids were all so excited going to bed on Christmas Eve. They all spent the night in Chloe's room due to the fact that we had locked Tanner out of his room to add the finishing touches to his room remodel.
Landon and I managed to pull of several surprises for all the kids this year especially the older two who normally know everything they are getting. It made it lots of fun.
Christmas morning came early for us, it normally does. We usually get up at 4 or 5 partially due to Mom's excitement which has been passed onto the kids. This year we were bombarded at 3:30 in the morning. There was no going back to bed so we just got up anyways.

Opening up Stockings came first.

Then it was time for the treasure hunt. The kids usually go on a treasure hunt to find their big gift from Santa. This year the treasure hunts were all combined into one and it was a team effort. With the "treasure" being the opening of Tanner's door where his present along with the other two kids were hidden.

Tanner loved his room, but was especially thrilled about the tv hanging on the wall-he never saw that one coming. Along with the tv Tanner got a new mattress and box springs, i home, bedding, and couch.

Chloe found her present which was an extreme pro camera (similar to a go pro) with all the attachments. She was also excited to find a new bike and 100 gel pens under the tree as well as some clothes and other odds and ends. No wonder Mom and shipped her old bike to the DI the week before, she had been pretty upset about that.

Bryce got the Ninja turle house and bus he wanted. As well as some PJ Masks toys and a new scooter. He loved everything he got down to the letter magnets and pez in his stocking.

Both of the older kids got 3D virtual reality headsets. Those brought lots of entertainment for the whole family. The even got great grandma to try them out.

Bryce crashed just before 11. The only downside was that we had to wake him up to head to church.
Church was really nice. Beautiful message and lasted all of 45 minutes. Then it was time to head home for a nap and some more time with family.

Latter we went out to my Grandma Marshall's for Christmas Dinner.
It was a great day. MERRY CHRISTMAS
