The kids both had a basketball game. It was Tanner's last game of the season and Chloe's coach was gone so I coached her game. Both were fun games.
Tanners game came right down to the final seconds, with Tanner's team trailing by 3 points. Then out of nowhere Tan hits a long three point shot to tie things up (I think he hit 3-3 point shots that game and several other baskets as well). They then went into overtime, but ended up losing by a couple of points. It was a really great game though and a fun way to end the season.
Chloe's team did really well. We tried man to man defense instead of zone-they were awesome at defending-so good that a team that has twice beat them by a lot only ended up wining by 1 point. Chloe played the whole game as point guard. She did such a great job passing although none of her team mates were able to get their shots to drop. She also was an awesome defender-she does not give up although some of the girls she was going up against were twice her size and would sometimes fling her around like a rag doll-haha. The funny thing is she would still usually be the one to end up with the ball. Chloe made all of the points on her team-except for the 2 points someone on the other team accidentally made for them-oops! The final score was 5-4. Landon was able to get some great videos of her during this game-I'm sure we will look back on them in years to come with great amusement.
