My Mom got remarried and moved to Arizona a little over a year ago. Though she has been out to visit us quite a bit, we hadn't yet taken a trip to see them. We decided last week to go out there for a few days. None of us had ever been to Mesa or Phoenix so we decided to make a mini-vacation out of it and do some fun things while we were there. My sister Tiffanie and her family decided to go too. The drive from St. George to Mesa, where my Mom lives, is about 7 hours. The kids all did surprisingly well, especially little Bryce. As long as I supplied him with a "present" ( a new item to keep him busy for awhile), periodically he was good to go. The kids were all pretty happy to get out of the car when we reached Flagstaff. We enjoyed a nice lunch at the local Pizza Hut.
We finally made it and were able to just chill out for the rest of the afternoon/evening.
