Give a Day Get a Day

Disneyland has a great promotion going on this year it is called Give a Day Get a Day and what it entails is that if you give a day of service (or a few hours in some cases) they will give you a free day at one of the Disney Parks. If your planning on taking a trip to Disneyland anytime this year you might want to look into it. There are lots of opportunities and they post more daily just follow this link

We are planning a trip to Disneyland later this year with Landon's family. So we decided to sign up. We chose to help with Project Linus-which is that you make quilts for kids who are in shelters, or in a crisis. We all helped put together a few blankets and the kids made cards to go with them which was part of the project. We finished it this week and I plan on mailing the quilts tomorrow. It was a fun project for us all and it helped teach the kids something in the process about giving to and helping others.

Landon's sisters and their families who live in Ogden have all signed up as well I think one family is putting together hygiene kits and the other two are volunteering at a Center-so it really is a worthwhile thing if you want to look into it.
