The day before Thanksgiving is usually a busy day at our house, baking pies and getting ready to host dinner. That means that I usually won't prepare lunch at home but will opt to run and grab something. Bryce was having a rough day-he was on sensory high alert-THANKSGIVING is the worst Holiday for him-with all the food and people involved. Anyways I was already stressed out because of it-all he wanted for lunch was a birthday cake flavored frosty at Wendy's. So I ran to the nearest one to grab lunch and get him a frosty. We get to the window and I place my order and they tell me they are out of birthday cake frosties-seriously I wanted to cry and Bryce was doing exactly that in the back seat. I placed the rest of our order and pulled forward to grab the food-they told me at the window that the people in front of us had paid for it. It was such a nice gesture at a hard moment in time. After that I drove clear across town to another Wendy's location just hoping that they would have the frosties-luckily they did and we both headed home happy (it only took an hour or so out of our day with all the extra running around, but not big deal I guess if Bryce will at least eat something)

That time we went to Costco and came home with a Puppy
I have been wanting a puppy for awhile, but I kept going back and forth on it. Chloe always is on board for another puppy. Well we just happened to see some people across from Costco selling Goldendoodles- just the dog I had been wanting. We went over just to look. Then we went back again and this time we took Landon with us. We drove away, but we didn't get very far before Landon turned around and told us to get our puppy before someone else did. He is so cute and we all already love him. We named him MOOKIE after Mookie Betts on the Redsox (I mean we had to stick with the theme since we already named Beckett after a Redsox player)
I'll take them when I can
Since I don't get a lot of snuggles of hugs from Bryce I take them when I can even if it's when he falls asleep watching a movie with me.
STEM EXPO
We went to the GWA STEP EXPO. Some of it was pretty interesting and entertaining other parts not so much. Bryce's favorite part was for sure the reptile exhibit-not going to lie that's the main reason we went-HA!
Coding Robots
Reptiles
Space Dome
Blanket Fort
When Bryce gets Tanner to make him a blanket fort--it covers the entire living room and uses up every blanket in the house!
Basketball
Chloe made the basketball team-no surprise there. I was a little bit worried if she was actually going to tryout, but once she got there and has started playing again I think she has grown to enjoy it once more. She practices with the JV/Varsity squad, however she still plays with the Sophomore team.
It is great to see her back on the court and playing again-after last years concussion.

Worn Out
This stuffed Pikachu is Bryce's very favorite toy. He loves it so much-maybe too much. I have stitched him back together many times, but finally he got to the point where it just wasn't working. I tried finding a replacement unsuccessfully several times. Until finally I found the exact one. I thought Bryce would be so happy, but he wasn't :( He said it just didn't feel the same as his old worn out one.
November Tournaments
Chloe played in 2 tournaments in November. One was with the 14u team and the other was with the 16u team. That meant we spent a lot of time at the ball fields. This was also her last 14u tournament next year she will be too old to play with them and her team isn't playing in any in December. Kind of a bitter-sweet moment.
Landon's best friend from high school, Darrin, has a daughter who is Chloe's age and also plays softball. They live in another state so we don't ever really see them and the girls have never met. They actually ended up coming to this tournament and not only did the girls get to meet, but they actually ended up playing each other. Chloe's team managed to come out victorious. It was so fun to see them and catch up and cheer each others girls on.
Despite the long hours at the fields. Bryce was pretty happy about most of it. He even managed to get some naps in even when he had all of our junk piled around him.
October Book Recap
I had a lot going on in October so I only read 2 books. Here is what I read. They were both pretty good 4/5 stars.

Thankful Tree
We made a thankful tree. We started it the first day of November and ended it on Thanksgiving. Initially each person started out with a different color of leaf--Landon-green, Chloe-red, Tia-purple, Bryce-yellow (Tanner didn't participate), but towards the end of the month we had some extras we needed to use up so we kind of then just used whatever.
It is fun to see this completed. There was a wide range of items we were thankful for ranging from very serious to funny but still thankful for.
Family Pictues
Whenever it's fall my family knows that I will be setting up family pictures. They are all pretty good to humor me and get them taken. Bryce was more cooperative this year than normal, which was nice for a change.
I always love how they turn out. I love my family so much!!!
Bryce 6 years old
Chloe 15 years old
Tanner 19 years old
These are some of my favorites :)
