Veyo Pool and Crawdad Canyon

We usually make it to Veyo about once each summer. The kids love to go there, more for the crawdad catching than the swimming. It's always an adventure to see how many crawdads they can catch. We use hot dogs for bait and sticks we find laying around. Then it's time to lure them in. This time Sandi and Preslie went with us, as well as some neighborhood friends. Sandi was pretty good at catching crawdads and helped the kids get the big one they were after.

After catching crawdads for a bit, it was finally time to hit the pool.

A trip to the pool wouldn't be complete without a little snack from the snack shack. These two had fun sharing Bryce's ice cream cone.
Bryce finally had his feel of swimming and we spent some time soaking up the sun while waiting for the older kids to be ready to go home.
It was a fun little outing with our family and friends and the best part was that we didn't have to travel to far to cross this item off our bucket list.
