Chloe was on the all-star team again this year. Landon and two other guys coached it. It was a much better experience than it has been in the past. The coaches worked well together, and really cared about the girls and seeing the team succeed. The girls actually competed in every game and even won one. That is actually the first time a majors girls softball team from Dixie Little League has every won a game in the all-star tournament, so that was a great accomplishment. They went 2-1. Double elimination, so they only played those 3 games. Chloe pitched in the first game and caught in the other two. She did great in both positions, but she really stood out when she was catching. Her hitting wasn't the best during this tournament, and she had her first strike outs of the season, but she did okay and got on base and scored runs several times. We were proud of her.
