A Quick Trip to the Mountains

Usually in the summer we are able to do quite a bit of camping. This year with moving, home improvement projects, and our trip to New York we hadn't done any. We have on child in particular who loves this sort of activity and had been begging to go. Finally one Saturday we didn't have anything going and just decided to pack up and go for a quick overnight camp out. We went to Panguitch Lake, which isn't too far of a drive. The outing was nice. We had fun just hanging out, playing board games, and eating food cooked over the fire. The fishing wasn't great, but they caught a few and had fun tryin.

Hopefully next year we can get in more trips.

Note-We have had our tent for 14-15 years. When we were done camping this last time, we finally threw it out. It is definitely time for a new one. It has been through a lot. Poles are missing or broke, zippers no longer work, there are rips and parts that have been sewed. It has been a good tent, hopefully we can find a worthy replacement. Following are some of the pictures showing why we made our decision to get rid of it.
