The city of St. George does a great job planning and building new parks for the residents of Washington County. Recently you see more parks with unique features so going to the park continues to be an adventure for kids. There is a really awesome new park in Washington City called Canyon Park it is at the Hell Hole Trail-head. It has a Ninja Warrior Course (complete with timer) and some really fun big, fast, slides as well as a big sandpit to dig in. The park has lots of opportunities to run, jump, and climb-just what kids need. On the downside there isn't a lot of parking and the parking is smaller than some of the other parks so it can feel up fast. Then there is the ninja course. Most kids like to do it and see there time, but then there are always those kids who don't care or have manners and will just cut in front of people or purposely stay on one of the obstacles so those waiting to run the course can't. If you can go early and avoid the crowds that part of the park is for sure a lot more fun. Bryce really enjoys this park and I'm sure we will go back several times once summer arrives.
