Busy Week

While my sister was in the hospital I had her kids for 10 days. Part of the time we stayed in Fillmore, but a good share of the time was spent down here in St. George. I tried to keep the kids busy and having fun so they wouldn't think to much about the sad things in their life or worry about their mom or little brother. We had fun, but by the time they went home all I wanted to do was sleep-haha. I was exhausted!!!

We spent lots of time just playing together-cousins as friends are the best.

 One day we made shirts for the fourth of July...the kids had a lot of fun with this.

 We of course did some swimming...thank goodness for neighbors with pools :)

 We went to Jumping Jacks-twice!

 Their last day here we went to the splash pad in town by the library. The kids had fun playing in the water and riding the carousel.

 After that we met Great-Grandma at Baskin Robins and she treated everyone to ice cream. Bryce fell asleep on the way home with his still in his hands/

Fathers Day

Father's Day came and went and I never managed to get a picture of Landon with the kids. Things were just a little crazy around here. We do love our "Daddy" so very very much though. He takes so much time out of his schedule to support the kids in everything they do, and he works so hard to make sure they have not only what they need, but things they want and that they are able to participate and experience so many things. He is such a good example to us all and we love his lots and lots.

I think he was pretty happy with his Father's Day presents...more stuff to add to his RED SOX wall.

Over Memorial Day Weekend Landon's Sister, Brenda, took some pictures for us of the whole family. I love how they turned out especially the ones with all the cousins.

Dixie Swim Meet 6/14/14

Last Saturday Chloe had her first swim meet of the season. She did 4 races: 50 Meter Butterfly (Fly); 50 Meter Backstroke; 50 Meter Freestyle; 200 Meter Individual Medley (IM). 

She loves swimming but loves her brother even more.

She had a good meet. She took a 3rd overall in her IM and a fourth overall in her butterfly. Don't know about her backstroke-they haven't ever sent out the official results yet. We know that she totally killed it in her Freestyle race in her heat-she was almost a lap ahead of some of the girls...and she also got a Personal best time of 41 seconds, which is almost 2 seconds faster than what she was swimming it last year. We don't know about her overall standing in that one yet either.
