Landon and I had promised Bryce a trip to the Hogle Zoo in Salt Lake City. He hadn't really been there since he was a baby and we thought with his love for animals and zoo's he would enjoy it. The Zoo itself was a little bit disappointing. I guess we have gotten so used to the awesome Zoo's in Arizona that it just didn't quite cut it. However, Bryce had fun walking around and seeing the animals. His favorite animal at this particular zoo was the-Meerkat. We had fun spending some quality time with just Bryce-something we don't get to do often.
Afterwards we went out to dinner at The Cheesecake Factory. Bryce had ice cream and noodles with no sauce and he ate them both really well.
Then it was time to get on the road. We ran into a little bit of a problem when we blew a tire on the side of the busy freeway. Landon was finally able to get the spare on.
We finally made it back to Flowell. Chloe had stayed at Saydee's while we went to the Zoo. We stayed in Flowell for a couple of nights and the kids had fun playing with their cousins.
