Between Christmas and New Years

Between Christmas and New Year we usually have a lot of down time, because Landon and I both have jobs that don't really require a lot during that week. Landon works in construction, they pretty much shut down this week,  and I work in education-no school until after new years. It is nice because we are able to relax, spend time together, and visit or hang out with our family and friends during this time. I also like to take this week to get Christmas put away and start my yearly January purge of items we no longer need or use. 

This year my Mom came to visit us during that week, and our oldest son Tanner and his girlfriend came with her. They all live in Arizona. It was nice to have them around during a time when we didn't have a lot of plans and stuff going on so we could just chill and visit.  Bryce and Tanner are pretty close and Bryce is always so excited when Tanner comes home. 

One day my mom and I got some of the cousins together for a trip to 'House of Jump' and slushies at Maverick. 

One afternoon we went bowling with Tanner. 

We took lots of walks and watched lots of movies and just hung out.

Honestly it was a really relaxing and nice week. Now it's time to face the new year and get back to our normal everyday grind. 

We were going to have a little get together with our friends and my sister and her family on new years but they both ended up with sick kids, so we ended up just staying home, and going to bed early.
