Chloe has always wanted to sew...I just don't have the patience to teach her, plus I am not the best with following patterns and making the types of things she wants to make. So...when JoAnnes Fabric Store offered there classes for 50% off I signed her up for one.
She made some cool pillowcases, which match her bedroom perfectly. She gave one of them to her BFF Brydee.
My Mom also took advantage of the deal and signed her up for another class for her birthday. In this one she made pajama shorts-she picked out her own fabric-duck dynasty LOL. She did a pretty good job they fit her everywhere but in the crotch area-she made it just a little bit to short, but that happens. She did really well for sewing them alone. She has enough material that we are going to let he make a second pair, so hopefully they will fit a little better :).
Great Grandma gave her this cute sewing box for her birthday complete with turtle pincushion, so now she has somewhere to store all of her sewing supplies.
