A whole lot of SNOW!!!

A few Mondays ago we woke up to a surprise-SNOW! Not only was there a good couple of inches on the ground, but it was still coming down hard. St. George has no snow plows so when it snows the city in a way goes on vacation. The schools didn't want to call a snow day that we would have to make up later so they called an unofficial snow day-meaning you could go to school if you wanted, but if not you would not be marked absent or tardy-this meant most classrooms ended up with an average of 5 students in them. The kids enjoyed the day off. Chloe had lots of fun playing in the snow with her neighborhood friends.

Bryce hates the snow he didn't even want to go out in it at all. Preslie wanted to go out, but as you can see from the picture below once I took her out she was not a fan either!

So I brought the snow in to them. They had fun with that, although I think they did more eating it then playing with it.

Although we love having a fun snow day once in awhile or going to play in it now and then-we sure are glad that for the most part we can enjoy nice sunny warm weather year round.
