Tanner's teamed played in the Firecracker Tournament on the 4th and 5th of July. There were 5 pools of teams with 6 teams in each pool. 8 teams went onto play on the 6th. Although Tanner's team went 3-1 they didn't quite make it to play in the championship round, which in away I was secretly glad for because then they got to spend more of the holiday weekend with us. Overall the team played really well, and Tanner's hitting was spot on. Landon said in one of the games Tanner almost hit one over the fence, the bad news is that it hit the fence so hard it bounced right back to the out fielder who was easily able to get it in, getting Tanner in a pickle and eventually getting him out :(
