We woke up early to travel to Fredonia for Chloe's swim meet. Luckily Chloe and Bryce were both able to go back to sleep and slept most of the way.
The pool was right by the city park so we set up a nice little camp spot on the grass.
Bryce was happy as a clam as long as he had this personal mister in his hands that sprays out water.
Although we had fun and made the most of the day-it just wasn't a good day for Chloe in the water. She was in tears a few times. To start with the pool wasn't regulation size it was smaller also there were no starting blocks. Every time she dove into the water her goggles came off and were in her face on the IM she messed up pretty bad from her back stroke to her breast stroke turn and lost lots of seconds. It was a big meet with 4 teams and despite all that adversity Chloe managed to come in 6th-8th in every race which is pretty good considering. (to qualify for the Championships in a few weeks she need to come in 6th in that meet-so she is actually in pretty good standing right now).
Hopefully the next few weeks will be better though and run a lot smoother for her.
