Chloe's Soccer Team-United-went to the summer games. There were different levels-blue, red, and white (blue being the highest). Chloe's team played in the blue division for their age group u11.
There were four regular games scheduled for each team-then based on points earned in each game they were seeded into the championship games.
Thursday they had two games.
They won the first 6-2. Chloe score a goal!
The lost the second 0-2. :(
Friday they had two more games.
The won the first 5-0. Another goal for Chloe!
They won the second 1-0.
Based on their wins and the points they earned for each game they had the second most points so that put them in the championship game (gold/silver)-of course they would face the team that had beat them.
Right before the game Chloe's coach looked at the girls and said-girls this is your last time putting on a United Jersey cause next year our team name is changing. They got sad for just a minute-but he then told them-let's make it count as United we have enough silver medals & second places we need a gold. Everyone of those girls fought their little hearts out. The played harder than they have ever played, and despite one disappointing call when Chloe made a goal and there was an offsides call they still managed to pull it off. Even when they other team scored the first goal of the game they didn't give up and it paid off they ended up winning the game 2-1. It was the best feeling in the world seeing them accomplish this.
Team huddle after the big win.
While the girls were waiting to take the podium the took some fun pictures.

fun picture celebrating their goalie and the awesome job she did
Then it was time for them to take the podium and receive their medals. They were so excited. They wanted picture after picture-we thought they would never get down-haha. They have worked so hard for this!!!
They did their team cheer one last time.
What a fun and exciting few days for this girl and her team. She played so well the entire tournament. She started almost every game and played a lot. She fought hard for the ball every second it was in her territory-she passed well, she dribble well, and she score goals-she did exactly what a forward is supposed to do.
