Well Tanner has officially played his last little league game. Their regular season was over but they had a Championship tournament to end things. Tanner's team hasn't had the best year ever but they have really come alive the last few games. They surprised us all in the tournament and won their first two games, which put them in the Championship game. They ended up losing but ended up taking 2nd overall, which I think is a great accomplishment!
Highlights-Tanner had some really great plays as catcher during this tournament a couple of throw outs and even a couple times where he ran at the runners and ended up getting them in a pickle and then getting them out-I love watching it when he does that. We also saw him throw a perfect throw from center field right to the catchers glove it was sweet. He also did some pretty good pitching in the first game. Hitting Disclaimer: his hitting during the little league season has been way off, Landon said he didn't feel like he was seeing the ball well. Well come to find out for the last 4-6 weeks I have been putting the same prescription contact in both of his eyes-they aren't the same, his left eye is worse, so he partially actually probably was having problems seeing the ball-so I will take the blame for that little slump and we'll hope it's over.
