Last weekend was jam packed with fun activities. On Friday afternoon Tanner left for scout camp-it was his first scout camp that Landon didn't go on with him. He was excited about it. They must have had a good time because when he got home Saturday around 1. He fell asleep on the couch and slept until I woke him up around 5:30.
Friday night Landon and I went to the temple with our ward for a special ward temple night. Chloe had a girls night and she went to dinner and frozen yogurt with Grandma Tawny and Aunt Sandi. Then she went to Great Grandmas to watch movies and play until we got home. She was asleep by the time we picked her up.
On Saturday our ward held an international days celebration. It was where we could go and visit different classrooms where people who had lived in or visited different countries taught us about them. They gave everyone passports as you got there. We were able to visit China, Egypt, New Zealand, Spain, and Germany. It was fun and interesting to learn new things about these countries. Tanner was still at scout camp so he didn't go with us, but Chloe loved it. Here are some pictures of her from our trip to Spain wearing her hat and neckerchief and eating her pan.
Saturday night was Rodeo time. Ever year we go to the Annual Dixie Round Up Rodeo. It is the biggest event in southern Utah. We usually luck out and get good seats due to family connections, which was once again the case this year. The kids had fun, although Tanner did ask to go home early to go to bed-haha, but he really enjoyed the rodeo food. It was so crowded where we were sitting that we decided next year even if we had tickets for good seats we might go sit somewhere else where we might have a little more room to stretch our legs and our backs out just a bit. Sunday afternoon Chloe put on a rodeo for us all using her fake horse. She did every event and would drag different items out on the front lawn to be the barrels, or the steers she was roping, etc. It was pretty entertaining.
We had a good weekend but were all exhausted by the time Sunday afternoon rolled around.
