Tanner had his "Give Me Liberty" Awards assembly this week. They could achieve bronze, silver, or gold medal status. Tanner received the gold award for his accomplishments. We are very proud of him and really excited about the Give Me Liberty Program and what it teaches children.
Some of the things he had to do to earn his award were.....
*memorize a Line from the Declaration of Independence
*memorize the Gettysburg Address
*memorize the Preamble to the Constitution
*name and Locate the 50 states and capitals
*know the Symbols of the USA and Utah
*know Facts about some of the Presidents
and more.
There were 15 requirements in all.

Wow! That is amazing that he learned all that. I was pretty impressed when he recited the Gettysburg address after Makele's baptism!
