Lizard Hunting

We usually go out to my Grandma Marshall's house at least once a week. Bryce loves going to 'MaMa's' house. His favorite thing to do there? Hunt Lizards!!! She has tons of little lizards running around outside on her walls and in the flower beds. He gets so excited every time he see's them and will chase them around. It will be interesting to see if one of these days he catches one of them.

Baby Einstein

Bryce Loves Baby Einstein Videos-any of them that are about animals that is. His favorite time of the day is quiet time when I let him lay down, give him a bottle, and let him watch the "mammals" (animals). He gets so excited as soon as he see's the little caterpillar go across the screen (it is the start of all Baby Einstein videos). He can name tons of animals-horse, donkey, cow, dog, whale, duck, lion, bear-just to name a few.

He is definitely an animal lover-just like his Sister!!!

Everyday

Everyday Bryce looks forward to the time when Tanner and Chloe get home from school. He love and adores both of them so much and is for the most part happy if he can do whatever they are doing.
I am so glad that the has two older siblings who love his so much. It also helps me out quite a bit, and I always have someone to watch him when I need them too.
(Enjoying an after-school snack with Sis. Yummy-Watermelon!!!)

One of Bryce's favorite things to do is play basketball with Tanner. Sometimes Tanner plays dunk-ball and Bryce really thinks he can dunk it to cause he will run and jump and then Tanner will lift him up to the net-LOL. (This time Chloe wanted to get in on the action as well)

Soccer Week 2

Chloe had another soccer game this weekend. The pictures are kind of far away but if you can spot her she is number 6. Her team played another awesome game and had another victory winning 6-1. It is so good to see them working together and playing their positions like they should. Chloe is learning to trust and rely on her teammates (something that is often hard to do in recreational leagues because there is just some much variance in the players on a team). We are super happy with the team we chose for her to be on-her coach is great and you can tell he is really teaching the girls the game well. The best news Chloe scored another goal this week. Woot!! Woot!!  You can tell she is still learning to play at this new level, but each week she is getting better and better. We have had several parents tell us that she is doing great and they are glad to welcome her to the team :)

Labor Day Weekend

For the first time in 2 or 3 years there were no ball games for us to attend over Labor Day Weekend. Landon didn't have to conduct in sacrament that Sunday either, so we decided to take advantage of the rare opportunity and just go on up to Landon's parents house for a nice long visit. Of course his sister Brenda and her kids live there now too so the kids are always excited to be able to see their cousins. His other sister Taryn and her family decided to come down for a visit as well so we ended up with a full house. The kids had fun playing, sleeping on the trampoline, and just hanging out. On Saturday we went up Fillmore Canyon for a picnic lunch.

 Love my boys...
 CUTIE PIES!!!
It was so nice to just be able to hang out and not have anything else we needed to do. Landon had been working really long hours the last few weeks so it was a good break for us all. The only bad thing was that we had a little stomach flu hit our family starting with Bryce on Friday. It eventually went through all of us over the next 4 days and as we each took a day out to be sick-but aside from that we had a great long weekend!!!

Sunday News

Priesthood Advancement
On Sunday Tanner was advanced to the office of "Teacher" in the 'Aaronic Priesthood'. We are proud of him and the fine young man he is turning out to be. He was so happy to finally move into the teachers quorum with some of his friends. He was also glad that after telling me again-probably for like the 5th Sunday in a row that his church pants were to small that I finally went and bought him some new ones that fit. He is growing so fast! I guess he can no longer wear his Sunday Clothes Grandma Robison gives him for Christmas until the next year without needing a new pair.

Nursery Wars
Bryce is so far not digging nursery-ugh. I have been going in there with him for a little over a month now. This week is the first week I really have tried to leave him. I though maybe with our neighbor Dave in there he would be fine, but he is super attached to his Mommy. He is just fine if I'm in there but as soon as I leave he turns the tears on. I'm hoping after a few more weeks I might be able to leave without him crying the whole time. #fingerscrossed

Competitive Soccer-Team United

After Chloe's "Fiesta" it was time to play some soccer. We finally made the move and got her on a competitive soccer team. It was kind of hard finding her a team-she tried out for one team and we just decided we weren't happy about the monthly fees and other costs associated with it, so we kept looking-we just weren't finding any teams with openings that were for her age group. So we decided to let her try out and play on an older team that had openings-that was the plan. Then a few days before team sign ups we got a call from the team we had really wanted Chloe to play on-they told us they had a girl who wasn't going to re-sign with them and that if Chloe wanted the spot she could have it.Yeah!!!-she wouldn't have to play up and would have at least 1 friend on the team-plus really good coaches and fees that we could agree with.
So that's the long story. Her team played their first game Saturday afternoon. Her team name is 'UNITED'. They did great. They won 8-1 and guess who made the last goal of the game? Yep you guessed it our little Chloe. She was a little bit reserved the first part of the game, but towards the end her competitive spirit was starting to show through. I'm sure as she works more and more with her new team and coaches she will get more comfortable and we will see her grow and progressive into an even more aggressive and skilled player. Can't wait!!! Love our Soccer Star!!!
