Family Pictures

On Saturday we had family pictures taken. I am some happy to finally have some shots with the whole family in them. I don't have them back yet, but I know they will be good and can't wait to see them, hopefully sometime in the next week they will be done. Before the pictures I made hair appointments for Chloe and myself to get our hair done. I never do this but I just thought it would be nice and something fun for us to do together. They did Chloe's hair in a really cute up-do with these awesome bows made with her hair. 

She wore it for 3 days -ha ha- and got lots of compliments on it. When we got done and met up with the boys Tanner told me I looked like I was from Hollywood or something-wow nicest compliment ever!!! Made my day for sure :)

Colonial Days

 Today at school the third grade had a colonial days celebration. They have been learning about the early colonies in History and so they had a day where they did activities that  people of this era may have done such as making quilts, playing jacks and jumping rope, and making butter. They also were able to dress up in the fashion of that era. We borrowed the skirt and bonnet from some friends and great grandma made the apron. She looked so cute.

 It was also her un-birthday at school, since she has a summer birthday, she got to choose a day to celebrate it. I stopped in to bring birthday treats and took the opportunity to snap a picture of all the girls in her class in their colonial attire.

16 weeks old

Every time people see him there are a couple of things they say "look at those cheeks", "he's getting so big", or "he is such a good, happy baby". All are true. We are so blessed he is a happy healthy little guy and getting funner and funner everyday. Sometimes the kids fight over who he likes the best-lol, but he really likes everyone and will smile at almost anyone who talks to him.

Family Night Donuts

On Monday we invited Grandma Tawny over for Family Night. We washed the cars and made donuts. The kids thought it was so cool that you could make home-made donuts. They turned out pretty good but would have been better had I not killed the yeast by putting in the milk while it was too hot. Yeah I obviously don't do much baking. They just didn't raise as much as they should have, but they were still good and they still got eaten. Next time I'll know better.

 Bryce was right there in on the action. He is starting to like his bumbo a little bit better now, and is getting better at sitting up.

Flowell Weekend

Over the weekend we took our first official road trip with the little guy. He has been to Cedar City a few times, but that is the furthest until now. We went to Flowell for our niece Dakoda's baptism and to hang out with Landon's family. Bryce was really good in the car and he actually stayed awake for most of the drive. I think he was just so happy to be watching what brother and sister were up to that he didn't want to go to sleep. 

We drove up Friday night and picked up Saydee in Fillmore before heading on down to Flowell. The Neuberger Family also came that night so all of the kids were happy to see each other. The three girls Chloe, Saydee, and Makele pulled an all nighter and talked and giggled until early in the morning hours-it's funny how girls do that sort of thing. I'm glad the boys went to sleep :)

Saturday we got up and went to Dakoda's baptism. Afterwards we came back to Flowell for a lunch. Here are all the kids that were there...

Then it was time for a little bit of horse riding. Chloe was thrilled.

Bryce was not happy when it was his turn for a ride.

After that we went up town, and had a picnic at the park. The girls used the stage and put on a play, and the boys and Brenda went to the shooting range. The kids were worn out by that night and luckily they all went to sleep without a problem.

Sunday was Mother's Day. Tanner made me breakfast in bed, and the kids and Landon had a few presents for me. We went to church and then had lunch with the family. After that we headed back home. Bryce once again stayed awake for most of the drive, but was happy about it. 

It was a nice little trip, but I am always glad to be home. Love my home and Family!

15 weeks old

Our baby boy is getting bigger and bigger by the day-couldn't you just eat him up. He is such a little talker and guess what? He laughed at Tanner the other day-first official laugh (Wednesday May 8, 2013). 

Little League Weekly Update

Tanner's team has really been in the slumps lately. It has been hard to watch and super frustrating especially for Landon and Tanner. I just tell Tanner as long as he's doing his best it's all he can do. The thing is though is sometimes even when he is and his team's not it makes him look bad, cause if he's pitching and the fielders miss easy balls and outs then people get on base and runs are score, so it's hard at times, but we're trying to have a positive outlook.

On Tuesday they played the  , and the lost 12-1. Last time we played the we only lost by one this time it was by eleven. Tanner played shortstop and pitched for a few innings. He really did do a good job pitching he just didn't have the back-up he needed in the field. I didn't see most of this game between getting Chloe to gym and running home to change me and the baby both after he spit up really badly, and what I did see was from the car because of the weather, but Landon and my Grandma both said Tanner played a good game.

Highlights-Grandma said Tanner fielded a ball at short stop and the ladies next to her said "did you see that he picked that ball up just like he was a professional."

On Thursday they played the Cardinals and the won 12-11!!! Yeah finally we really needed it. The Cardinals are a good team too, so it was a fun game to watch.

Highlights-Tanner caught the whole game and did an awesome job behind the plate. He almost had a throw out at second-but the ump called the runner safe-it's debatable though since the kid who was running to second's Dad is who pays the umpires paycheck-lol. He also scored the winning run.
