Gym

On Tuesday Chloe started gymnastics at Champion Gymnastics. It was a tough decision for us to move her over there for a few reasons-such as the intensity and commitment of their program, the cost, etc. We have loved the gym where she was at and she had the best coach ever, but even her coach felt like it was time for her to move on and I think it was. It will be good for her and she is super excited about it. My mom made her this new leo and Chloe loves it!!! She got some many compliments on it and Grandma already has her first order to make someone else one. Chloe said she was going to tell everyone it was a "special delivery" from Grandma and if they wanted one they could call her-haha :)

Hail and Flash Floods

On Monday we experienced some extreme weather down here in St. George. It had been overcast all day, but weather doesn't usually stop baseball, so I loaded up Tanner to drive him to practice. Within five minutes it started hailing and raining so hard that I literally couldn't drive. I could barely see the road and the car was hydroplaning. Within five minutes it had passed but the streets everywhere were flooded and there were piles of hail that looked like snow on the ground. Luckily practice was cancelled. It was crazy!!! Going back home took me twice as long because traffic was so backed up from the flooding.

Sisters Graduation and Youth Conference

On Saturday my sister, Sandi,  and her husband Brett both graduated with their master degrees. Sandi's was in accounting and Brett's in Business Administration. I am so proud of both of them. I rode to Cedar City with my Mom and Grandma Marshall to attend. Bryce of course came along. Afterwards we all had a nice lunch, and then headed home.

Meanwhile Landon and Tanner went to youth conference. The theme was B.O.O.T camp (Building our own Testimony). They went to Gunlock and did lots of fun outdoors activities and obstacles. Including swinging into a yucky pond from a rope swing. Tanner ended up having fun even though he wasn't sure he really wanted to go. Landon dressed as a knight for part of the presentation. Sir Land-a-lot (my knight in shining armor). It was a good experience for the youth.

 While the rest of us were off galibanting Chloe was in Bloomington at her second home (her friend Brydee's Grandma's).

14 weeks old

Such a happy boy-he was talking away at me in these pictures. He has started using his hands a little bit more and loves to suck on them when he gets the chance. He gets super excited about things but we still haven't managed to get a laugh out of him-any day now I think it will happen.

Little League Weekly Updates-Mariners in a Slump

Tanner's little league team has really been in a slump-it has been a little bit frustrating, but I have still enjoyed watching Tanner play. I can't say that he is without errors, because that's not the case, however he has done some great stuff, and had some good games despite the fact that they just can't manage to pull off a win.

On Tuesday they played the Dodgers they lost 10-3. Tanner caught the entire game and didn't really let much get past him. It was hot and he was guzzling down the water.

On Thursday they played the Angels they lost 9-5. Tanner pitched for 5 of the 6 innings. Tanner had a great game, the Angels are probably one of the best hitting teams in the league and while Tanner was pitching only one ball even made it to the outfield. It was so frustrating though because his team just was not backing him up in the field and so players got on base on overthrows, misses, and drop third strikes-poor Tanner it was hard on him. One of the players on his team even told him it's not your fault Tanner it's us.

Gym Tryouts and Review

Last week Chloe had a sort of tryout for the new gym she will soon be transferring over to. They had the girls all come in and do a workout to see where they were all at, what level they were on, and stuff like that. They were all so excited. It was so cute to see them watching an anxiously awaiting the time to get out there on the floor. 

Then on Tuesday she had her end of year gymnastics review. She has been going to Amy's gym for about 3 years. I can't believe it! She has learned so much and really grown in the process. We had actually decided to keep her with Amy one more year, but plans changed. Chloe is really ready to move onto the bigger gym and she really really wants to as well. We will miss Amy, however we will still get to see her around because her daughter will be going over to the other gym with Chloe.

 Chloe's very favorite event is the bars, but I didn't get any pictures or videos of her doing that event because I was dealing with a fussy baby at the time :(
