It was another busy weekend for us. Tanner had a ball tournament on Friday and Saturday. His team went 1-3 in this tournament. Not the best, but two of their games were pretty close, so it makes you feel better about the losses. Tanner had an awesome game in their last game on Saturday and he even has a battle wound to proudly sport around-yikes- some major road rash from diving for a ball. I guess he made a couple of awesome catches and got some even better hits. To bad I wasn't there to see any of it.
In fact I was home for both of his games on Saturday with a sick little girl. She just got better right-but yes she was super sick again. After her soccer game on Saturday morning she just dropped to the grass and could barely walk. She said she felt like she was going to throw up and she had a fever. She was super sick all day Saturday and couldn't and didn't feel like really eating or drinking anything partly because she couldn't keep it down. She was still not feeling well this morning but as the day has gone on she is slowly getting back to her normal self again. Poor Girl-hopefully that's it for sickness for her this year.

Strep Throat and Soccer
Today only two days after being so sick Chloe had her first soccer game of the fall season. You wouldn't have been able to tell that she had been sick at all if you would have seen her playing. She scored two goals and played her little heart out. She was an awesome defender and had the assist on a lot of the goals our team made. Our team ended up wining 10-2. I say our team because yes I am the coach again. By the way our team is called the Purple Comets.

Insects
For school they had a bug project. Each student had to make a bug out of things they could find around the house and bring it to school, as you can see Chloe made two-a grasshopper and a ladybug. Daddy helped with the grasshopper-they shaped it out of salt dough, and Mommy helped with the lady bug we made it out of a take out cup holder, toothpicks, and buttons. Chloe did most all of the painting herself. She was so excited about this project that she didn't let us procrastinate one day before getting to work on it.
